My first experience was meeting new people and making new friends. I met people from Valley Middle School, Moanalua High School, and Carlsbad High School. It was nice to talk to other students that the same interested as all of us. Some of them were really nice, being that we all were there for the same competition, we would see each other in the hallways or elevators and wish each other luck in our competitions. I also had a chance to meet other students in the editing room that were helpful too. NOt to mention it was really awesome to see our old classmates that are now at Kauai High School I sure miss them and their support as always. I feel like this trip, I met more new people than last year and it made things much more interesting.
My favorite experience was going to Universal Studio and City Walk with my friends. Although it was my second time going to Universal Studio with CKTV (in Florida too), I feel like this year I made new friends in other grades and it was a new experience that was memorable. I enjoyed riding rides and spending time with all of them and shopping and dancing with these friends. I got to learn a lot about all of them and became closer with all of them.
My last experience that I had to endure was the experience of "loss". No I am not talking about death. I am talking about our mistake of not being able to turn in our Music Video on time. Javlynn and I tried our best to turn in a good quality video, but our exporting time didn't make it. I feel so bad that we could not turn in our final product because I feel that it was a good quality video. We tried our BEST and we are just as disappointed, but I believe that we all did an awesome job. Thank you to all those that have supported us after we realized we didn't make it. We were disappointed to hear the time going and that we weren't going to make it. Thank you to Mr. M and chaperones for your words of encouragement and support. Also to see our friends from Kauai High School (Halle, Brooke, Mel, Sharae, Mandy, Marlena) outside the doors to give us huge hugs, support, encouragements and a shoulder to cry on
These are my three experiences that I encountered in STN this year and I hope you all enjoyed reading my blogs that I posted everyday.
